Jessica Brandt has a diverse and extensive work experience in the fields of policy, research, and international affairs. Jessica is currently working at The Brookings Institution as the Policy Director for the AI and Emerging Technology Initiative. Prior to this role, they were the Head of Policy and Research at the Alliance for Securing Democracy, and a Senior Fellow at the German Marshall Fund of the United States. Jessica has also held positions at The Brookings Institution as a Fellow in Security and Strategy, and as a Special Adviser to the President. Additionally, they have worked as a Belfer International and Global Affairs Fellow at Harvard Kennedy School's Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs, and as a Program Coordinator at the Council on Foreign Relations.

Jessica Brandt has a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies, with a minor in Romance Languages and Literatures, from The Johns Hopkins University. Jessica completed this degree between the years 2002 and 2006. Furthermore, they hold a Master's in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School, specializing in International and Global Affairs. Jessica obtained this degree from 2011 to 2013.
