Jonathan Katz

Senior Director, Anti-corruption, Democracy And Security Project at Brookings

Jonathan Katz has extensive work experience in the field of international relations and democracy initiatives. Jonathan started their career as a Legislative Assistant and later became a Legislative Director for Congressman Robert Wexler. Jonathan then worked as a Democratic Staff Director for the House International Relations Committee before joining the House Committee on Foreign Affairs as a Staff Director. Jonathan also served as a Senior Advisor at the Department of State and a Deputy Assistant Administrator at the U.S. Agency for International Development. Jonathan went on to become the Executive Director of the Transatlantic Democracy Working Group and a Senior Fellow and Director of Democracy Initiatives at the German Marshall Fund of the United States. Jonathan has recently held the position of National Security Fellow at Senator Amy Klobuchar's office and is currently working as the Senior Director of the Anti-Corruption, Democracy and Security Project at The Brookings Institution. Additionally, Jonathan co-chaired the Transatlantic Task Force for Ukraine.
