Joshua Meltzer

Joshua Meltzer is a distinguished expert in global economy and development, currently serving as a Visiting Expert for the Federal Advisory Committee at NIST, focusing on critical and emerging technology standards since June 2023. As the Founder and CEO of Policyware, established in January 2021, Joshua drives the strategy and execution of an education technology company. With an extensive academic background, Joshua holds positions as a Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institution and an Adjunct Professor at the University of Toronto, alongside roles at Monash University and Melbourne University Law School, teaching courses on emerging technologies, data flows, and digital trade law.
