Martin Baily

Martin Baily is a distinguished economist with extensive experience in economic policy, productivity, and the financial system. Currently serving as a Senior Fellow at The Brookings Institution since September 2007, Baily also advises clients as a Senior Advisor at McKinsey & Company and Albright Stonebridge Group. Previously, Baily was a Senior Fellow at the Peterson Institute and served as Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers under President Clinton, providing crucial economic policy advice as a cabinet member. Baily holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an M.A. in Economics from the University of Cambridge.
