Ramon Villalona

Ramon Villalona is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as a Senior Investment Manager at The Brookings Institution, with expertise in generalist fund of funds endowment investments, covering a wide range of asset classes including developed and emerging market equities, private equity, and various forms of credit. Prior experience includes a role at the International Finance Corporation as a VC/Growth Equity professional focused on Southeast Asia and global emerging markets, where Ramon played a key role in rebuilding the venture practice in the region. Previously, Ramon worked at J.P. Morgan as a Global Corporate Banking Analyst specializing in technology coverage, and at Silicon Valley Bank as an Associate in the Credit Analysis and Commercial Lending program. Ramon holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Mandarin Chinese from Hamilton College and has completed a study abroad program in Chinese Language and Literature at Minzu University of China.
