Tricia Smit has a diverse work experience in the non-profit arts sector. Tricia started their career at The Joffrey Ballet as a Corporate Project Manager, focusing on arts education and community engagement. Tricia then worked at Sens Production as the Director of Operations & Outreach, Development, where they produced site-specific dance performances and films. Tricia later became the Director of Development at Dancewave, a Brooklyn-based dance center focused on dance education and mentorship.
