Molly Gallivan

Molly Gallivan has extensive legal experience, currently serving as Senior Policy Counsel and Trial Attorney at Brooklyn Defender Services since July 2020. Gallivan has also contributed to legal education as an Adjunct Professor and Visiting Clinical Associate Professor of Law at Fordham University School of Law since August 2010. Prior to the current role, Gallivan was Senior Legal Counsel at The Justice Collaborative from June 2019 to July 2020 and Supervising Attorney at Brooklyn Defender Services from May 2011 to June 2019. Gallivan was a Partner at Molly Jack Gallivan, PC from January 2008 to May 2011 and Of Counsel at Bedell & Forman, LLP between June 2005 and June 2008. Early legal career includes significant work as a Trial Attorney at The Legal Aid Society of NYC from September 2001 to May 2006. Gallivan obtained a Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law in 2001 and earned a Bachelor's degree from the University of Notre Dame in 1997.
