Robin Perenchio

Associate Director of Special Projects & Literacy for Multilingual Learners at BROOKLYN PROSPECT CHARTER SCHOOL

Robin Perenchio is a seasoned educator with extensive experience in academic operations, special projects, and literacy for multilingual learners. Currently serving as the Director of Academic Operations and Special Projects at Prospect Schools since October 2018, Robin has held various leadership positions within the organization, including Associate Director of Special Projects and ML/ELL. Prior experience includes five years as an English as New Language Teacher with the NYC Department of Education, where responsibilities encompassed delivering instruction aligned with Common Core Standards and leading projects for English Language Learners. In addition to teaching roles, Robin has contributed to higher education as an adjunct instructor and has a background in program management and community engagement through previous positions in non-profit and health promotion sectors. Robin holds a Master of Education in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from Long Island University and an EdM in Sociology and Education from Teachers College, Columbia University.
