Lauren Arana

Lauren Arana is an experienced nonprofit professional with a strong background in development and fundraising. Currently serving as Chief Development Officer at Brooklyn Public Library since October 2013, Lauren has previously held roles including Assistant Vice President and Director of Individual Giving in the same organization. Prior experience includes positions at Jazz at Lincoln Center as Associate Director of Individual Giving and Manager of Planning and Board Relations, as well as a consultancy role at AEA Consulting. Earlier in the career, Lauren was Capital Projects Manager for the NYC Department of Cultural Affairs and Issues and Advocacy Coordinator for The Municipal Art Society of New York. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Nonprofit and NGO Management from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Vassar College.
