Michael Jon Fieni

Michael Jon Fieni serves as the Director of Community Engagement at Brooklyn Public Library since April 2014, where Michael Jon develops and implements strategies for government and community engagement, successfully securing budget increases and enhancing community relations. Previously, Michael held roles such as Manager of Community Engagement at the library, and District Manager and Budget Director for a City Council Member, managing various political and legislative tasks. Michael furthered leadership skills through participation in Coro Leadership New York and has experience in media, having worked at The New York Times in multiple capacities, including producer roles. Michael holds an MBA from Zicklin School of Business and a Bachelor’s degree in Literature from Fordham University, complemented by a brief educational experience at the University of Hyderabad.
