David Parry Bsc (Hons)

David Parry BSc (Hons) has a diverse and extensive work experience in the security industry. David began their career with Chubb Fire & Security Group as a Retail Area Manager, overseeing approximately 50 locations. David then joined Oltec Group Facilities Management as a Contract Manager, managing multiple retail locations in the North West region.

At Oltec Group, David quickly progressed to the role of National Account Manager, responsible for a blue chip account and working closely with loss prevention teams to reduce national business loss. David subsequently became the Head of Retail Security UK/ROI, overseeing all national retail accounts and leading a large team of Regional and Area Managers.

David then joined TSS (Total Security Services) Ltd as a Senior Operations Manager, accountable for the operation of the Liverpool Regional office and the smooth running of all Northern/Irish portfolios.

David later joined Kingdom Services Group Ltd, where they held various roles including Key Accounts Manager, Relationship & Development Director, and Divisional Head: Strategic Account Director - Retail. In these positions, David was responsible for delivering industry-leading retail security and safety, strengthening partnerships, and supporting corporate social responsibility initiatives.

Most recently, David worked as a Commercial Director at Parallel Security, where they were responsible for planning and implementing business strategies to accelerate business growth.

Currently, David is serving as the Head of Supply Chain & Logistics UK at Brooknight Security, a position they joined in 2022.

Throughout their career, David has demonstrated strong leadership skills, a customer-centric approach, and a proven track record in delivering excellent service and achieving business objectives.

David Parry BSc (Hons) has a well-rounded education history in the field of computing. David started their academic journey in 1998 at Wrexham University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Computing. David continued their studies at the same institution and completed a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Computing from 2000 to 2002. David's educational pursuits culminated in the completion of a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Multimedia Computing from Wrexham University from 2002 to 2004.

In addition to their formal education, David Parry has also acquired various certifications to enhance their skill set. These certifications include Counter Terrorism - Security (ACT) and Counter Terrorism Awareness (ACT), obtained from HIGHFIELD ELEARNING LIMITED in April 2022. David also holds the TAPA EMEA Certified - FSR2020 - Authorised Auditor certification from the TAPA Transported Asset Protection Association, obtained in October 2020. Additionally, David has completed certifications such as Finance for Non Finance Directors (September 2020), Directing Safely (June 2016), Managing Safely (June 2014), Root Cause Analysis (December 2006), NOCN Level Two Award - Security Guarding (Static and Patrol) (September 2005), and LASER Level 2 - Working as a Door Supervisor within the Private Security Industry (August 2019).
