Jamonique Harrison, Ph.D. has extensive work experience in the field of education. Jamonique has held various leadership roles, including Senior Director of Research and Data Science at Broward College, where they provided overall leadership for business intelligence and analytics activities. Jamonique also served as the College and Career Director for the Promise Neighborhoods Grant, overseeing project work plans and implementing changes to improve student success. Furthermore, Dr. Harrison has experience as the Director of TRIO Student Support Services - ESL at Broward College, where they oversaw program activities and developed training for staff and students. Prior to their work at Broward College, they served as an instructor and graduate administrative/research assistant at Florida Atlantic University. Additionally, they worked as the Managing Partner and Director of Curriculum & Instruction at Academic Strides and held positions as an Academic Quality and Assessment Program Manager and Academic Success Manager at Open Education. Dr. Harrison also worked as a Curriculum Content Specialist and Virtual English Language Instructor at Open English. Jamonique has experience in student advisement as an Advisor Specialist at Palm Beach State College and has taught Spanish at various high schools. Dr. Harrison's work experience also includes a role as a Resident Assistant/Receptionist at Florida State University.

Jamonique Harrison, Ph.D., obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Multilingual/Multicultural Education from Florida State University in the year 2006. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Educational Leadership from the University of Cincinnati, completing their studies in 2009. In 2012, they returned to Florida Atlantic University for their second Master's degree, this time in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration, which they obtained in 2014. Finally, they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration from Florida Atlantic University in 2016.

In addition to their formal education, Jamonique Harrison has obtained several certifications. Jamonique became a Certified Appreciative Advisor from Florida Atlantic University in December 2021. In 2016, they obtained the Florida Educator Certification from The Florida Department of Education. Other certifications they have acquired include: Results Based Accountability Certified Professional from Clear Impact, LLC (2023), Google Project Management Certificate (2022), Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from the University of South Florida (2021), Getting Ahead in a Just Gettin'-By World Facilitator from aha! Process (2020), E-Learning Certification from Oregon State University (2018), and Notary Public from the Florida Governor's Office in January 2020.
