Andrea Knowles Hill

Andrea Knowles Hill, MPA, currently serves as the Director of Legislative Affairs for Broward County Public Schools since September 2025, following a role as Assistant Director at Broward County Government from November 2023 to September 2025. Prior to these positions, Andrea held significant leadership roles, including Executive Director at BROWARD DAYS, INC. from January 2017 to December 2023, where the focus was on connecting local voices to state legislative processes, and Executive Director of the Broward Legislative Delegation from September 2015 to December 2023, managing legislative agendas and strategies. Andrea's earlier experience includes serving as Legislative Assistant III for the Florida House of Representatives from 2012 to September 2015, supporting legislators in various capacities. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Administration from Grand Canyon University, a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Florida Atlantic University, and an Associate's degree from Tallahassee State College, along with coursework in Innovation in Public Administration from Georgetown University.
