Peta-Gaye Bisset is a seasoned educator and entrepreneur currently serving as the Founder of Attendance Genius since April 2024. With a long-standing career at Broward County Public Schools beginning in August 2004, Peta-Gaye Bisset teaches AP Calculus, AP Physics, and AP Computer Science (Java/Python) and is the founder of the SPIDER group, which supports high caliber low-income students and evolved into the Foundation of Excellence. Prior experience includes roles as a Programmer Analyst at Certified Vacations, focusing on database management with SQL Server and Java, as well as an Actuarial Analyst at SunGard, where Peta-Gaye Bisset worked on financial software development using Visual Basic, C++, SQL, and Microsoft Access. Peta-Gaye Bisset began the career as an Actuary Intern at John Alden Life and holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science Education from the University of Florida and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Miami.
