Jennifer Smith serves as the Vice President of Corporate Communications & Marketing at Broward Health since February 2018, leading diverse teams to foster enterprise growth and develop corporate branding strategies. Prior roles include Associate Vice President of Marketing & Communications, where administrative oversight of marketing initiatives and communication strategies was provided, and Director of Corporate Communications, wherein significant crisis communication efforts were directed following the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting. Prior to rejoining Broward Health, Jennifer worked with Tenet Healthcare as Manager of National Operational Communications and at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine as Director of Media Relations. Jennifer's career includes various roles in communications and public relations, showcasing expertise in media relations, digital communications, and strategic messaging. Educational credentials comprise a Master of Arts in Mass Communication from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University at Buffalo.
