Seema Bhimani Chavan

Seema Bhimani Chavan has over 19 years of engineering experience specializing in water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including design and watershed/water quality modeling. Currently serving as Vice President and Senior Director of Strategic Funding at Brown and Caldwell since May 2023, Seema Chavan previously held the position of Associate Vice President at Carollo Engineers from July 2014 to April 2023. In this role, Seema led strategic project funding initiatives, collaborating with various agencies to secure federal, state, and local funding opportunities for water infrastructure projects. Seema Chavan began their career as an Engineer at Kennedy/Jenks Consultants and progressed through roles at Carollo Engineers, culminating in a Senior Associate position before becoming an Associate Vice President. Seema Chavan holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley and an M.S. in Environmental Engineering from Northwestern University.
