Carly Naismith is an experienced research professional currently serving as the Head Researcher at Brown Bag Films since May 2021, where responsibilities include overseeing the research team and ensuring the historical accuracy of featured figures. Previously, Carly worked as a Researcher at Brown Bag Films, providing background reports and script editing for an Emmy-nominated PBS kids’ TV show. Carly's academic background includes a Doctorate in History from York University and a Master's in History from Western University, complemented by experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and a Teaching Assistant. Additional roles include Facilities Assistant at Compass Canada for Google Toronto, Assistant Language Teacher in Japan, and various positions in customer service and library support.
