Kathryn George

Partner at Brown Brothers Harriman

As a Partner with oversight of Private Banking’s Multi-Family Office, Center for Family Business and BBH Trust Companies, Kathryn George helps clients achieve their definition of success for their family, wealth and business over generations. She also serves as the Chairwoman of the BBH Center for Women & Wealth. As a member of Women Moving Millions, Kathryn is also very engaged with clients, helping them develop and execute on their philanthropic goals.

Kathryn joined BBH in 1986. During her tenure at the firm, she has served as the firm's Chief Administrative Officer, Head of Merchant Banking and Head of Sales, Research and Trading. She is currently the chair of the Private Banking Investment Oversight Committee and a member of the Private Banking Oversight Committee and the Capital Partners private equity Investment Committee. She also co-chairs BBH’s Global Inclusion Council, which establishes the firm’s Diversity & Inclusion goals and initiatives.

Kathryn is the chairman of the board of Gillen Brewer School, a trustee and member of the Executive Committee of Trinity College and a member of the Investment Committee of the Episcopal High School in Alexandria, Virginia. She is also a member of the board of directors of Dutch Bros. and Haven Behavioral Health. Kathryn is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Trinity College.
