Chathuranga Witharana has a strong background in accounting and financial management. Chathuranga has over 8 years of experience as an Accountant, where they have successfully managed financial statements, collaborated on budgeting processes, and ensured timely clearance of balance sheets. Chathuranga has also held positions as a Co-Founder of Fruzco Cafe, an Assistant Accountant at Ranfer Group, a Group Assistant Accountant at Delmege Forsyth & Co. Ltd, and a Senior Auditor at EY. Chathuranga holds qualifications including MAAT, ACPM, CBA, and an MBA from the University of Reading in the UK.

Chathuranga Witharana has a diverse education history in the field of business and management. In 2016, they became a Member of the Association of Accounting Technicians (MAAT) from AAT Sri Lanka, specializing in accounting and business management. Following this, in 2019, Chathuranga joined the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka to pursue a Certified Business Accountant (CBA) degree, focusing on accounting and finance.

In 2021, Chathuranga enrolled in the Institute of Chartered Professional Managers of Sri Lanka, where they completed their studies and obtained the title of Chartered Professional Manager. Chathuranga'sspecialized area of study in this program was professional management, business, and leadership strategy.

Continuing their pursuit of knowledge, Chathuranga is currently attending the University of the West of England, where they are expected to complete their Master's in Business Administration (MBA) in 2023. The MBA program encompasses a wide range of subjects, including business administration, management, finance, and marketing.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Chathuranga has obtained two additional certifications. In 2016, they became a Member (MAAT) of AAT Sri Lanka, and in 2022 they earned the title of Chartered Professional Manager from the Institute of Chartered Professional Managers of Sri Lanka.
