Shane Burke

Shane Burke is an accomplished finance and corporate development executive with extensive experience in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) sector. Currently serving as VP and Director of Global Treasury at Brown-Forman since 2019, Shane leads a comprehensive global Treasury function for the $30 billion company, encompassing capital markets, investment management, risk management, and cash management. Previously, Shane held significant roles, including Head of M&A and Corporate Development at Brown-Forman, where responsibilities included corporate strategy, M&A strategy formulation, and stakeholder communications. Prior experience includes key positions at Altria, UL, Sara Lee Corporation, and Credit Suisse, covering strategy, business development, and investment banking. Shane holds an MBA in Strategy and Finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
