Becci Davis is an accomplished conceptual artist and educator with extensive experience in visual arts. Currently serving as an Assistant Teaching Professor at Brown University since August 2020, Becci has held various roles in higher education, including Lecturer and Adjunct Lecturer. As a self-employed visual artist since August 2012, Becci's research-based practice draws inspiration from nature and personal histories, utilizing diverse media to explore themes of memory and connection to place. Notable past roles include Artist Fellow at the RISD Museum and Creative Fellow at Providence Public Library, along with teaching and mentorship positions at multiple institutions. Becci holds a Master of Fine Arts in Visual Arts from Lesley University and a Bachelor's degree in Ceramic Sculpture from Columbus State University.
