Brian Gauvin is a seasoned data professional with extensive experience in data architecture and management. Currently serving as the Lead Data Warehouse Architect at Brown University since May 2017, Brian is instrumental in transforming a fragmented reporting and analytics environment into a unified, scalable infrastructure using Snowflake. Prior to this role, Brian worked at The MathWorks for over 20 years, where responsibilities included managing the development of a comprehensive enterprise data warehouse and leading a team of developer analysts. Earlier career experience includes positions as a Senior Accountant at Price Waterhouse Coopers, where audit and assurance services were provided across diverse industries, and various roles focusing on business systems analysis and implementation. Brian holds a Master’s degree in Information Systems from Northeastern University and a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems and Accounting from Babson College.
