Michelle Ding

Michelle Ding is a researcher at Brown University, active since August 2022, focusing on curating a database related to AI fairness, justice, transparency, and reliability as part of the Socially Responsible Computing program in the Computer Science Department and the Center for Tech Responsibility at the Data Science Institute. In addition to research, Michelle has served as a teaching assistant for various courses in the Computer Science curriculum. Michelle participated as a Brown in Washington Fellow at AAAS from May 2023 to August 2023 and previously worked as a researcher for the Center for Scientific Responsibility and Justice at ACT in July 2021, as well as holding a position as a Professional Development Executive at ACT Education Solutions. Michelle is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Brown University, expected to graduate in 2025, and attended the University of Chicago for a Summer Intensive Session in Economics in 2019.
