Nasim Sonboli is a dedicated researcher with expertise in algorithmic fairness and responsible recommender systems. Currently serving as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Brown University since January 2023, Sonboli was previously a Computing Innovation Fellow and Postdoctoral Scholar at Tufts University from January to December 2022. An experienced graduate research assistant at the University of Colorado Boulder from September 2016 to January 2022, Sonboli focused on fairness-aware recommender systems while also working as a teaching assistant in various computer science courses.
