Janet has extensive experience in complex litigation management, claims administration, lien processing, and dispute resolution both with law firms and as in-house counsel. In her 33-year practice, Janet has been on national and regional counsel teams litigating cases involving pharmaceuticals and medical devices, public nuisances, environmental issues, premises liability, and consumer financial services. In addition, Janet spent seven years at the Dalkon Shield Trust establishing a legal department, managing outside counsel handling litigation and arbitration across 40 states, and developing medical expert witnesses worldwide in nine different specialties.

At BrownGreer, Janet develops and implements policies and procedures to process and pay liens and to protect against the unauthorized use and disclosure of confidential information. She works closely with judges, federal and state agencies, settlement parties, lawyers, claimants, and lienholders to respond to questions and address disagreements over financial obligations, contractual commitments, confidential information, and payment issues.
