Laura L. Waters has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Starting in 1995, they worked as a Teacher's Aide for the San Diego Unified School District. Laura L. then moved on to work as a Facilities and Maintenance Coordinator for UCLA Parking Services, where they were responsible for coordinating daily activities and special event planning. Laura L. later became a Regional Membership Representative for the Actors Equity Association, representing members in the region. In 2004, they joined Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP as a Manager of Office Administration, overseeing administrative operations. Laura L. held this role for over a decade before transitioning to become the Director of Facilities at Wood, Smith, Henning & Berman LLP. In 2016, they served as the Director of Office Operations at Alderlaw PC and then as a Contracts Administrator at Northern Arizona University. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as an Office Administrator at Squire Patton Boggs, supervising staff, managing budgets, and coordinating office events. Laura L. then worked as a Temp at Adecco in 2019 before joining Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck in 2020 as an Office Administrator. In this role, they lead daily operations, creates staff-focused learning and development programs, and collaborates on national projects and initiatives. Throughout their career, Laura has demonstrated strong leadership, organizational, and strategic planning skills.

Laura L. Waters has a diverse education history. Laura L. obtained a Masters of Professional Studies degree in Psychology of Leadership from Penn State University. Prior to that, Laura completed their B.A. in English at UCLA. Laura L. also attended San Diego City College for general education courses. Laura graduated from San Diego High School, earning their High School Diploma. Additionally, Laura has obtained various certifications, including Mental Health First Aid (Adult) from the National Council on Mental Wellbeing and a certification in Office Ergonomics Evaluation from Humanscale Education. Laura L. has also received training in HR Generalist and Screenwriting, the latter of which they pursued through the UCLA Professional Program.
