Nadeam Elshami

Nadeam Elshami has 22 years of work experience in various roles within government relations and communications. Nadeam most recently worked as Policy Director at Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, where they co-chaired the largest government relations department in the country and led a team of 60 lobbyists and lawyer-lobbyists. Prior to that, they served as Executive Vice President at Signal Group DC.

Elshami's extensive experience also includes working for Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi as Chief Of Staff and Senior Communications Advisor for over a decade, where they managed and represented Democratic members' strategic interests during bipartisan negotiations on various complex issues. Nadeam also worked for Senator Dick Durbin as Deputy Communications Director/Senior Communications Advisor and for Representative Jan Schakowsky as Deputy Chief of Staff/Communications Director, where they developed and implemented communication plans and media strategies. Nadeam began their career as Deputy Press Secretary for Senator Barbara Boxer, where they interacted with the press and produced and edited media content.
