Eric Doubet has a diverse work experience spanning various engineering roles. Eric is currently working at BRP as a Senior Engineer/Project Lead, where they lead a team in designing, building, and testing watercraft. Prior to that, they worked at Bradley Corporation as a Product Design Engineer, managing cross-functional teams, identifying product quality improvements, and implementing design changes to integrate new features. Eric also diagnosed failure modes and coordinated with cross-functional teams to improve product robustness. Before that, at Briggs & Stratton, they served as a Mechanical Engineer, Lead New Product Development Engineer, and Product Engineer. In these roles, they commercialized new product innovations onto engine platforms, managed teams for engineered designs and testing, and collaborated with cross-functional teams for cost reduction and warranty improvement. Eric's early experience includes an internship at Global Power Components, where they coordinated assembly and performed root cause analysis for power inverters and generator enclosures.
Eric Doubet has a Master of Engineering Management degree from the Milwaukee School of Engineering, which they obtained from 2017 to 2020. Prior to that, they earned two Bachelor of Science degrees from the same institution. From 2007 to 2012, they completed their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, and also graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management during the same period. In addition to their academic degrees, Eric has obtained certifications as an ABYC Standards Advisor from the American Boat and Yacht Council in March 2023, and as a Design for Six Sigma Green Belt from Air Academy Associates.
