Alpajaro Peter

Alpajaro Peter has extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as a Power Trader at Bruce Power since March 2001, where responsibilities include managing the Asset Desk and Real-time Trading Desk, and temporarily fulfilling the role of Acting Power Sales Manager. Previous roles at Bruce Power include Shift Superintendent in Training, Market Developments Manager advocating for favorable electricity market rules, and System Engineer for critical nuclear systems. Alpajaro Peter began a career at Ontario Power Generation from June 1997 to February 2001 as a System Engineer and Shift Advisor Technical, having also worked at Atomic Energy of Canada Limited from July 1992 to May 1997 in various engineering and supervisory roles. Earlier experience includes teaching French Immersion subjects at Elliot Lake Secondary School. Alpajaro Peter holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Fuels and Materials from the Royal Military College of Canada.
