Amal Lekorchi

Amal Lekorchi, P. Eng., currently serves as a Project Manager for Analysis Projects in the Project Management Office at Kinectrics since November 2022 and is also a Project Manager on secondment for NSAS at Bruce Power since July 2023. Previous experience includes roles as a Nuclear Safety Analyst and Project Manager at Calian Group from October 2018 to October 2022, and as a Radiation and Nuclear Safety Analyst and Emergency Exercise Designer at International Safety Research (now Calian) from December 2016 to October 2018. Amal's career began with a position at Statistics Canada in 2016 as an Enumerator, and included a role at Natural Resources Canada in 2014 managing technical assessments and innovation project applications in the forest industry. Amal also contributed as a Mechanical Engineering Assistant at Public Works and Government Services Canada from January to April 2014, focusing on energy efficiency and the transition from steam to hot water technologies. Educational qualifications include a Baccalaureate in Applied Science, Mechanical Engineering (Honours) from the University of Ottawa and an intermediate Spanish course completed in January 2022.
