Olivier Sordet

Olivier Sordet is an accomplished Senior Project Director with extensive experience in major capital projects within the nuclear and mining sectors. Currently at Bruce Power, Olivier leads the preparation phase of a multi-billion dollar program aimed at refurbishing four nuclear units to ensure a reliable and carbon-free energy source for Ontario through 2064. Previous roles include Project Director at Glencore, overseeing projects exceeding $1 billion, and various leadership positions at Areva, including Head of Capital Projects in mining and Deputy Project Director for new nuclear builds. Olivier holds a Master of Engineering from Ecole Supérieure des Techniques Aéronautiques et de Construction Automobile and is pursuing an executive education program in Business Administration and Management at Harvard Business School.
