Kristyna Savard

Kristyna Savard serves as the Branch Manager for Brunswick County, a position held since March 2018. In this role, Kristyna manages library operations, oversees staff and volunteers, develops programs, and maintains relationships with community members and officials. Previous experience includes a Library Assistant/Youth Librarian role within the same county library system, where Kristyna planned and implemented youth programs for six years, demonstrating strong communication and customer service skills. Additional experience includes positions at Horry County Library System, Barnes & Noble, and Pelham Public Library, as well as an internship with Howl Magazine. Kristyna holds a Master's degree in Library and Information Science from North Carolina Central University and a Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, and Professional Writing from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
