Deepali Bagati is a Partner in Brunswick Group's New York office. Ms. Bagati focuses on shareholder activism and proxy contests, as well as investor relations and public affairs for a range of clients.
Prior to joining Brunswick, Ms. Bagati served as Executive Director, USA & APAC at Catalyst, a global nonprofit working to build inclusive workplaces and accelerate progress for women at work. In this role, they oversaw Catalyst’s operations in the United States, Canada, and Asia-Pacific, and was responsible for the organization’s research, consulting, and programs work in these regions.
Ms. Bagati joined Catalyst in 2004 as Director of Research, where they managed a team of researchers and was responsible for all research products and services in North America and India. In 2008, they were promoted to Senior Director, India and led Catalyst’s India Initiative—a multi-year effort to further inclusion of women in the Indian workforce. In 2012, they became Vice President of Catalyst’s Inclusive Leadership Initiative, a global leadership development program that provides executives with the skills and knowledge to create inclusive workplaces.
Prior to joining Catalyst, Ms. Bagati served as Program Director at South Asian Youth for Action, a youth leadership development organization in New York City. Deepali also worked as an Assistant Professor at Yeshiva University’s Graduate School of Social Work.
Ms. Bagati earned their MSW from Yeshiva University and their BA from Bryn Mawr College.
Deepali Bagati has a Ph.D. from Bryn Mawr College, an MA from Delhi University, and a BA from Shri Ram College of Commerce. Deepali attended Delhi Public School - Mathura Road for high school.
