Ronald Schranz

Ronald Schranz is currently a partner and the head of office in Vienna for Brunswick Group. Brunswick Group is a leading international communications firm. Ronald has over 25 years of experience as an adviser to leading international and Austrian companies on critical issues, politics, litigations, transactions, governance, responsibility, and sustainability.

Prior to joining Brunswick Group, Ronald was the owner and chief consultant of Ronald Schranz International Consultancy from January 2004 to December 2008. Ronald Schranz International Consultancy is a firm that specializes in public relations and communications.

Before Ronald Schranz International Consultancy, Ronald was the managing director of Hauska Austria & CEE / Fleishman-Hillard from February 2001 to June 2004. In this role, they were responsible for strategic relations advisory in Austria and CEE with own offices across CEE. Ronald was also an affiliate of Fleishman-Hillard for CEE.

Ronald was also the managing partner of Icons GmbH / Porter Novelli from April 1997 to September 2001. Icons GmbH is a PR firm that specializes in technology and digital media. It was later sold to the biggest Austrian PR firm.

Ronald has also held the positions of Head of Communications and spokesperson for two major political public-law associations in the Austrian economic and social partnership from January 1992 to December 1998. Ronald was also the media services manager for the Austrian Parliament from January 1991

Ronald Schranz's educational career is very diverse. Ronald has studied applied complexity science, philosophy, and strategy, security and defence. Ronald has also been a trainer and lecturer for figure skating and tennis. Additionally, they have a high school diploma from the Akademisches Gymnasium Wien Beethovenplatz and a certification from the Vienna Stock Exchange.
