Koen Wouters is an experienced professional in the field of reproductive medicine, currently serving as the Deputy Head of the ART lab at Brussels IVF since April 2022, and as a Clinical Embryologist at UZ Brussel since April 2019. Prior to these roles, Koen held multiple positions at ZNA - Ziekenhuis Netwerk Antwerpen from September 2008 to April 2019, including Head of the IVF/Andrology lab, Clinical Embryologist, and Quality Manager focused on ISO 9001 standards. Earlier in the career, Koen worked as a Project Manager at GEOS Laboratories from 2002 to August 2008. Koen holds a Licentiaat degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Antwerp, earned between 1996 and 2001.

Brussels IVF is the fertility clinic of UZ Brussel, the university hospital of the VUB (Free University of Brussels). Our centre specialises in fertility treatments.
