Julien Pauwels

Julien Pauwels is an experienced aviation and operations professional currently serving as Chief Operations Officer at Brussels South Charleroi Airport since December 2022. Previously, Julien held the position of Head of Aerodrome Operations at Brussels Airport Company from December 2019 to December 2022. Julien's extensive career includes significant roles at Liege Airport, where Julien progressed from Operations Manager to COO and Board Member of Liege Airport Security between 2009 and 2017. Additionally, Julien served as Managing Director at Comexas Afrique and held operations management positions at Comexas and Euresys. Julien holds a Master of Engineering in Computer Vision from the University of Liège and additional educational experiences from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and College Saint Benoit Saint Servais.
