Kumanan Wilson

Kumanan Wilson has extensive work experience in the healthcare and research fields. Kumanan is currently a Scholar at the O'Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Executive Officer/Chief Scientific Officer at the Bruyère Research Institute and Vice President Research & Academic at Bruyère. Kumanan was also the Chief Scientific Officer and Chief Executive Officer at CANImmunize. Additionally, they hold academic positions at the University of Ottawa and has worked as an Internal Medicine Physician at The Ottawa Hospital and University Health Network. Kumanan has also held roles as a Senior Scientist and Canada Research Chair in Public Health Policy at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute. Kumanan Wilson's work experience dates back to 1998, and they have consistently held positions in medicine, research, and leadership throughout their career.

Kumanan Wilson's education history began in 1986 when they enrolled at the University of New Brunswick. Kumanan studied Biology, General and graduated with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in 1989. Kumanan then continued their education at Western University, where they pursued a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from 1989 to 1993. Following this, from 1993 to 1997, Kumanan Wilson completed their FRCP(C) in Internal Medicine at the same institution. Lastly, they attended McMaster University from 1997 to 1998, specializing in Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics, earning a Master of Science (MSc).
