Matthew Spies

Matthew Spies is an experienced Applications Engineer at Bry-Air Inc. since May 2019, where responsibilities include evaluating customer requirements and designing dehumidifier and air handling systems. Prior to this role, Matthew worked as a Mechanical Engineer, focusing on the design of commercial HVAC systems using Solidworks. As a self-employed individual from June 2018 to May 2019, Matthew acquired and remodeled a multifamily rental property. Matthew's earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Laboratory Technician at Quasar Energy Group from May 2015 to June 2018, coordinating regulatory testing for anaerobic digestion facilities and managing pilot-scale projects. Matthew also gained valuable insights as an intern, diagnosing operational improvements in anaerobic digester plants. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science in Food, Agricultural and Biological Engineering from The Ohio State University, earned in May 2016.
