Christopher Reid

Christopher Reid is a professor at Bryant University, serving since August 2010, where involvement includes appointment as Faculty Fellow at the Bryant University Center for Health and Behavioral Sciences. This role focuses on enhancing student knowledge in health innovation, promoting rigorous research, and guiding future health science leaders. Previous positions include Associate Professor and Assistant Professor in the Department of Science Technology, with research expertise in antibiotic discovery, chemical biology, carbohydrate-protein interactions, and biochemistry. Prior to Bryant University, Christopher held academic roles at Laurentian University and served as a Research Associate and post-doctoral fellow at the National Research Council Canada, contributing to antimicrobial discovery and developing bio-analytical tools in glycobiology. Christopher holds a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Guelph, an M.Sc in Chemistry from the University of Waterloo, and a BSc in Chemistry from Laurentian University.
