Ioannis Toumpalidis

Ioannis Toumpalidis is an experienced professional in spatial data science with a strong background in data analysis and visualization. Currently serving as an Associate Spatial Data Scientist at Bryden Wood since August 2018, Ioannis has also held roles as a Senior Spatial Data Scientist and Spatial Data Analyst within the same company. Prior experience includes a Research Assistant position at UCL from September 2017 to August 2018 and an External Collaborator role at Signalbox in June 2017, where exploratory analysis and visualizations for mobility data were provided. Ioannis has also contributed as a Research Project Assistant at the Centre for Research & Technology Hellas (CERTH) in 2016, focusing on spatial data mining and analysis, and completed an internship in 2014 at CERTH's Hellenic Institute of Transport. Ioannis holds an MRes in Spatial Data Science & Visualization from UCL and a Diploma in Urban Planning and Development Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
