Katie Tarr has a diverse work experience in the field of athletics and education. Katie started their career at Bryn Mawr College in 2003, where they held various positions such as Associate Athletic Director, Senior Woman Administrator, Physical Education Senior Lecturer/Instructor, Head Lacrosse Coach, Co-Director of the Snell-Shillingford Coaching Symposium, Head Basketball Coach, and Compliance Director. During their time at Bryn Mawr, they were responsible for developing policies, managing scheduling and travel, and initiating leadership development programs. In 2005, they joined the Positive Coaching Alliance as a Trainer, where they presented workshops on leadership in youth sport organizations. Prior to that, they worked as a Graduate Student Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania, where they assisted in coordinating executive institutes and symposiums related to intercollegiate athletics and selective admissions.
Katie Tarr obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Swarthmore College in 2002. Katie then went on to complete a Master of Science degree in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration from the University of Pennsylvania in 2003.
