Josh Vel

Joshua Vel is a seasoned architectural professional with extensive experience in design leadership across various firms. Currently serving as the Director of Design and Director of Learning, Student Life Practice Leader at BSA LifeStructures since March 2018, Joshua's previous roles include Higher Education Practice Leader at Perkins+Will from August 2013 to March 2018 and Design Architect, Principal at MHTN Architects from 1997 to August 2013. Joshua began the career as an Architectural Intern at Sanders Herman Architects from March 1995 to July 1997. Academically, Joshua holds a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Utah, where studies were completed from 1995 to 1997, and a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies from the same institution, earned between 1989 and 1995.
