Lori Merians

Community Development Support Manager/Reception Department Manager at BS&A Software

Lori Merians has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and organizations. Lori began their career in 1989 as an Assistant Assessor/Building Department Clerk at the City of Howell. Lori then moved on to the City of South Lyon in 1994, where they served as the City Assessor. In 1997, Lori joined Cohoctah Township as the Zoning Administrator/Code Enforcement Officer. During this time, they also worked as a Residential Property Appraiser at the Appraisal Network of Michigan. In 2008, they joined BS&A Software as the Community Development Support Manager/Reception Department Manager. Throughout their career, Lori has gained expertise in various areas, including property appraisal, zoning administration, code enforcement, and community development support.

Lori Merians began their education in 1985 at Western Michigan University's Haworth College of Business, where they pursued a major in Corporate Fitness. In 1986, they transferred to Lansing Community College, where they earned an Associate's Degree in Business Administration and Management in 1987. Continuing their education, they attended Northwood University from 1986 to 1989, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business Management. Finally, in 1989 and 1990, they attended Lansing Community College once again, this time earning a Certificate in Property Valuation/Assessment Administration.
