Abigail Wilson serves as Manager, State Advocacy. Wilson will monitor, analyze, and report on state legislative issues as well as assist in strategic engagement efforts with state elected officials related to BSA members’ priority policy issues. In addition, she plays a critical role in helping build and maintains BSA’s brand and relationships with key legislators in state capitals around the country.
Wilson was most recently Advocacy and Policy Manager for the International Interior Design Association, where she led legislative strategy and lobbyist management with active legislation in six states and building relations with existing and new stakeholders. Previously, Wilson was Special Project Assistant with the Chicago Park District, where she managed stakeholder relationships with government agencies and NGOs, as well as grant reporting and applications.
Wilson holds a Master’s in Public Policy from Loyola University Chicago in Chicago, IL, and a BA in Political Science from the University of Louisville in Louisville, KY.
