Mike Torres

Michael Torres, SHRM-CP, has had an extensive work experience in the field of human resources. Michael is currently serving as the Director of Human Resources at BSBC Zaxbys Orlando since June 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Tijuana Flats Tex-Mex, where they held various positions of increasing responsibility. From June 2019 to June 2021, they served as the Director of Human Resources, and prior to that, they held the position of Senior Human Resources Manager from January 2018 to June 2019. Michael also worked as the Human Resources - Benefits Manager from July 2016 to January 2018, and as the Human Resources - Benefits Coordinator from February 2015 to June 2016. Before that, they held the role of Human Resources - Recruitment & Benefits Coordinator from June 2014 to February 2015. Michael also gained experience as a Shift Lead/NSO Trainer from June 2007 to June 2014, and as an Operations Manager from June 2005 to June 2007.

Michael Torres, SHRM-CP, earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences - AAS degree with a specialization in Business Administration and Management, Human Resources, from Valencia College from 2013 to 2015. In addition to their degree, they have obtained certifications including SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) from SHRM in May 2022 and Associate Professional in Human Resources from HR Certification Institute - HRCI in May 2016. Michael also holds a certification as a Predictive Index (PI) - Certified Practitioner from The Predictive Index.
