James Cockshull

James Cockshull has a diverse work experience in the field of web development. James worked as a Lead Software Engineer at BSD Education since November 2021, where they designed and implemented various features and optimized bundle size. Prior to this, they were a Senior Web Developer at BSD Education from January 2019 to February 2022, where they developed a real-time chat system and implemented serverless features. Before joining BSD Education, James worked as a Full-Stack Web Developer at Purple Voice co.,Ltd from August 2016 to February 2018, where they developed hybrid mobile and desktop applications using JavaScript and AWS technologies. Additionally, they have freelanced as a Web Developer, diagnosing and maintaining e-commerce websites and migrating Magento installations in May 2016 and August 2016, respectively. James started their career as a Software Developer at InFX Solutions Limited from August 2012 to July 2015, where they optimized codebases, implemented front-end designs, and gained experience in DevOps. James also worked as a Junior Developer at InFX Solutions Limited from August 2011 to August 2012, where they worked on a CMS, evaluated JavaScript frameworks, and handled server and database administration. James has worked with brands such as Cityjet, Lucozade, Ribena, and GSK.

James Cockshull completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Internet Computing from the University of Brighton, from 2008 to 2011. In addition to their degree, they obtained certifications in "Learning the Python 3 Standard Library" from LinkedIn in August 2021, and "AWS Certified Developer – Associate" from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in August 2021.
