George Tunnicliffe

George Tunnicliffe has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles in the field of IT and technical operations. George currently holds the position of Technical Operations Lead at BSI since 2024. Prior to this, they worked at CV-Library as the Tech Operations Lead and Technology Operations Manager from 2020 to 2023. During their time at CV-Library, George led and scaled the Tech Operations Team, supported significant traffic growth on international platforms, and implemented various infrastructure, security, and observability practices.

Before joining CV-Library, George worked as a Consultant for a brief period in 2020. George also served as the Head of IT Operations at National Theatre from 2016 to 2020, where they led IT strategy re-design, implemented hybrid multi-cloud architecture, and improved service delivery for a large organization with a global audience.

Prior to National Theatre, George worked as an Infrastructure Manager at St John Ambulance from 2014 to 2016. There, they led a team in delivering services for employees, volunteers, and blue light services, while also overseeing technical projects and security upgrades.

George's career also includes roles at Atech Support Ltd and Enara Group and Aspirations Care, where they held technical and managerial positions. George started their career as a System Administrator at Matrix Display Systems and later worked as a Battlespace Management Facility and Integration Engineer at BAE Systems, where they managed IT services and maintained core technology assets.
