Graeme Tunbridge

Graeme Tunbridge has extensive work experience in the healthcare and regulatory sectors. Graeme currently holds the position of Senior Vice President Global Regulatory and Quality, Medical Devices at BSI. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Devices at the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency from 2019 to 2022. Graeme also held the role of Group Manager - Devices Regulatory Affairs at the same organization from 2017 to 2019. Before joining the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency, Graeme worked at the Department of Health and Social Care. Graeme held the positions of Deputy Director - Primary Care from 2016 to 2017 and Deputy Director - Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response from 2015 to 2016. Additionally, Graeme served as the Head of Medical Devices EU Policy at the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency from 2011 to 2015. Graeme'searlier roles at the Department of Health and Social Care include GP Commissioning Programme Manager from 2010 to 2011, Head of Freedom of Information from 2009 to 2010, and Private Secretary to the Secretary of State for Health from 2008 to 2009. Graeme also held various policy and project roles at the department from 2004 to 2008.

Graeme Tunbridge attended Whitgift School from 1991 to 1999. Graeme then enrolled at the University of Oxford from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a degree in Molecular and Cellular Biochemistry (MBioc Hons).
