Mike Richardson

Mike Richardson has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Mike started their career at Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) in 1994 as an MIS Analyst Programmer, where they developed and maintained internal applications using various technologies. Mike then joined Entity Group Limited as a Consultant, where they had full responsibility for software development life cycle across multiple clients and industries. In 2001, they worked at AQA as a Senior Developer, responsible for Microsoft technology-based applications and managing a small development team. Later, they joined ACE Group as a Smart Client Technical Team Leader, overseeing a large development team and leading the migration to a new platform. From 2009 to 2013, they worked at Cognizant Technology Solutions as a Senior Project Manager, delivering strategic projects and managing on-site and off-shore development teams. Currently, Mike is working at BSI as the IT Director - Assurance Services, and has previously held roles such as Chief Operating Officer - Global Technology and Head of Systems & Online Technology. In their role as the Online Technology Group Development Manager at BSI, they were responsible for various development teams and the implementation of change delivery frameworks and project management tools. Overall, Mike Richardson has extensive experience in IT leadership, project management, and software development across various industries.

Mike Richardson completed a Higher National Diploma in Computing and Software Engineering from Southampton Institute of Higher Education between 1989 and 1992. In 2015, they obtained a certificate in Leadership Challenge from the Institute of Leadership and Management, and in 2013 they completed a Foundations of Management course from the same institution. Mike is also a member of the BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, holding the certification of MBCS. Mike has additional certifications in Managing Successful Programmes (MSP®) Practitioner from BCS, Chartered Information Technology Professional, Mangement Of Portolios (MoP®) Practitioner, Portfolio, Programme and Project Offices (P3O®), and Prince2® Practitioner.
