Stephan Nilsson

Bitcoin Association Ambassador: Scandinavia at BSV Association

Stephan Nilsson has been working in the field of blockchain for over five years. Stephan started out as a Senior SAP Netweaver Process Integration Consultant for Carlsberg Group. In this role, they were responsible for investigating, designing, implementing, testing, and documenting various interfaces and process flows between the numerous SAP and Non-SAP systems at Carlsberg. Stephan then became the Technical Integrations Custodian for Heineken. In this role, they were responsible for managing the technical integration of Heineken's various systems.

In 2013, Stephan co-founded Trenob Holding AS, and served as its chairman until 2014. During their time at Trenob, they also worked as a Solution Architect for SAP Netweaver Process Orchestration. In this role, they were responsible for designing and implementing solutions that integrated Trenob's various systems.

In 2014, Stephan left Trenob to join EY Skye as a Blockchain Evangelist and Solution Architect. In this role, they were responsible for promoting and implementing blockchain solutions within EY. Stephan also helped launch the Oslo Blockchain Cluster and the Norway Blockchain Association.

In 2019, Stephan left EY to become an Ambassador for the Bitcoin Association in Scandinavia. In this role, they are responsible for promoting Bitcoin and its use cases in Scandinavia.

Stephan Nilsson has a certificate of accomplishment in digital currencies from the University of Nicosia. Stephan also has a degree in technical engineering from the 3 years apprenticeship program at Tetra Pak AB, Lund, Sweden. In addition, they have a higher special course in automation technology from Polhemskolan, Lund, Sweden. Lastly, they have a technology programme in electro technique from Polhemskolan, Lund, Sweden.

They are on a team with Jeff Chen - Bitcoin Association Ambassador - Singapore, Alex Agut - Bitcoin Association Ambassador - Spain, and Eli Afram - Bitcoin Association Ambassador - Australia. Stephan Nilsson reports to Bitcoin Association Ambassadors, Global Ambassadors.
